People buy furniture to suit their pockets. When they first set up homes they buy second hand until they can afford then finally when they vecome very rich they but second hand again.
From each according to each needs must when the devil drives. That is what it means to get promoted to the limit of your ability. A man who is promoted into a job he can not do easily will nbe allowed to struggle with that job until he retires because the effect of losing him is worse than keeping him struggling.
A firm is not going to lose someone that can help others do the jobs he was good at, not while they are still profiting from his efforts.
