A nation looking for a sign

The people running the country came to Jesus, saying:
...and teachers of the law said to him:
"Teacher, we want to see a sign"

He answered

"A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a sign! But none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah."

When Doctor Judy Wood took on the role of America's Justice Department of The USA, people came to her demanding a sign. Wisely she decided to keep out of acrimony and concentrate on telling the wounded the truth. And that way all the slingshot and arrows fell short of hitting her, to this day.

Here comes an arsehole who doesn't live in America and doesn't have a job and doesn't fear death becaause he hasn't long to live and he doesn'r even enjoy eating like he used to asking how do you you like his apples?

Not with the intention of making anyone eat his shit but capable of flying in the face of unreasonable men and stridently telling them the truth! (The Forked Tonguers.)

I can't go around calling people Forked Tonguers, it will take too long, so I am going to abbreviate the term so that people will know who I mean without me using bad language:
Fkuers.

There that is better!

OK so now we have a type of person that I don't have to mention by name we can get on with the story.

Once upon a time there lived in the resource rich plain of Shinea:

11  And all the earth had the same speech and the same words. And as they moved along in the East they found a river-bottom in the country of Shinear and lived there.

A mighty king who had working for him, a set of people who god was blessing:

3  And the king told his chief eunuch: Civil Servant to bring some of the sons of Israel and of the royal blood and of the upper classes, boys free from all defects, good-looking, judicious, well-informed, clear-headed, capable of serving in the royal palace, and to teach them Chaldean scholarship and the Chaldean language.

And among them were certain Judahites, Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and ʽAzariah;  and the chief Civil Servant gave them names, naming Daniel “Belteshassar” and Hananiah “Shadrac” and Mishael “Meshac” and ʽAzariah “ʽAbed-Nego.” But Daniel resolved not to pollute himself with the king’s viands and the wine... And God gave Daniel the friendliness and sympathy of the chief Civil Servant.

Then one day the king began having weird dreams that troubled him so he called his wisest men and asked them to interpret the dream:

Tell us what it was and we can have a go they said.

2 In the year two of Nebucadnessar’s reign Nebucadnessar had dreams; and he was uncomfortable and sleepless about it.
And the king ordered the scholars to tell the king his dreams; and they came in and stood before the king
and the king said to them “I have had a dream and am uncomfortable about knowing the dream.”
And the Chaldeans said to the king ...tell your servants the dream and we will show the interpretation

“It is my positive word, if you do not make known to me the dream and its interpretation you shall be cut to pieces and your houses made a garbage-dump, show the dream and its interpretation you shall receive gifts and grants and great honor from the government. So show the dream and its interpretation.”

They answered for the second time “Let the king tell his servants the dream and we will show the interpretation.”

The king answered “I know for certain that you are trying to tide over the crisis
If you do not make known the dream there is one sentence for you, you have concerted a plan to tell a foul lie till the crisis resolves
tell me the dream and I shall know you are loyal

The Chaldeans answered before the king “There is no man on earth who can show the thing your majesty mentions, as no Emporer ever asked any scholar a thing like this, the thing your majesty has asked is difficult and there is no other who would show it before your majesty except the gods.

The king was provoked and flew into a great rage and ordered all the wise men in Babylon put to death.

Daniel and his comrades were going to be killed. Daniel askedthe king’s chief bodyguard, Arjoc, who had gone out to kill the wise men of Babylon:
“Why is the government’s edict so rigorous?”
Arjoc informed Daniel of the affair and Daniel applied to the king to give time for him to show the king the interpretation.
Then Daniel went to his house and informed his comrades of the affair to asking for kindness from the God of heaven as to this secret

Then the secret was revealed to Daniel in a vision of the night. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven. Daniel responded “Be God’s name blessed from age to age, whose are wisdom and might and who changes times and dates, sweeps kings away and sets kings up, gives wisdom to wise men and knowledge to enlightened men; it is he reveals the deep and covert things; he knows what is going on in the darkness, and the light is lodged with him.

To you, God of my fathers, I give thanks and praise because you have given me wisdom and power and have now made known what we asked you for, that you have made known to us the king’s affair.”

Daniel went to Arjoc and said
“Do not put the wise men of Babylon to death; bring me before the king and I will show the king the interpretation.”

Arjoc brought Daniel before the king and said thus to him: “I have found a man, who will make the interpretation known. The king asked by

“Are you competent to make known to me the dream I saw and its interpretation?”
Daniel answered “The secret your majesty asks about is one that god in heaven, a revealer of secrets has made known to King Nebucadnessar what is to be in future days.

Your majesty saw that a great statue—this statue was large and extraordinarily bright—stood before you, and the sight of it was terrible; that statue’s head was fine gold, its breast and arms silver, its waist and hips bronze, its legs iron, its feet part iron and part crockery.

You saw till a stone was cut out without hands and struck the statue on its iron-and-crockery feet and smashed them; then all at once the iron, the crockery, the bronze, the silver, and the gold smashed up and became like chaff the wind carried off and there was not a trace of them to be found; and the stone that had struck the statue became a great mountain and filled all the earth.

This was the dream; and the interpretation:

“You yourself, whom the God of heaven has given royalty, dominion, might, and glory, you are the golden head.

After you there shall stand up another empire inferior to you, and another third bronze empire which shall be sovereign over all the earth;  and there shall be a fourth empire, strong as iron, inasmuch as iron smashes up and pounds down everything; and like shattering iron it will smash and shatter all these.

And  its feet and toes part potter’s crockery and part iron, it shall be a divided empire but shall have in it some of the starkness of iron; inasmuch as you saw the iron mixed with the mud crockery and the toes of its feet some of them iron and some of them crockery, parts of the empire shall be strong and parts shall be brittle.

And as to your having seen the iron mixed with the mud crockery, they shall be mixing together by human seed, but they shall not cohere with each other, just as iron does not mix with crockery.

“And in the time of those kings the God of heaven shall set up an empire invulnerable forever, and the empire shall not pass to another people; and it shall smash and end all these empires, and it itself shall stand forever,  inasmuch as you saw that a stone was cut out of a mountain without hands and smashed the iron, the bronze, the crockery, the silver, and the gold.

Great God has made known to your majesty what is to be after this; and the dream is determinate, and the interpretation of it trustworthy.”

Then King Nebucadnessar threw himself down on his face and did reverence to Daniel and ordered sacrifice and genial odors to be offered to him. The king said “Your god must indeed be god of gods and lord of kings and revealer of secrets, that you have been able to reveal this secret.”

Then the king raised Daniel to high rank...

And as for the statue and its might it, continued from the Babylonians to the Persians to the Macedonians to the Romans to the British and where it rests now:

The United States.

But they are not United any longer, the statue that was clay mixed with iron has been crushed and blown away, the very day it happened the iron was removed leaving clay dust that blew away. And where is it now?
