Cogito ergo sum

I think therefore I am going to try to decipher this:

Insofar as slip in an earthquake is related to the strain accumulated near a fault since a previous earthquake, and this process repeats many times, the earthquake cycle approximates an autonomous oscillator. Its asymmetric slow accumulation of strain and rapid release is quite unlike the harmonic motion of a pendulum
[or not as is more likely] and need not be time predictable, but still resembles a class of repeating systems known as integrate-and-fire oscillators, whose behaviour has been shown to demonstrate a remarkable ability to synchronize to either external or self-organized forcing.

Given sufficient time and even very weak physical coupling, the phases of sets of such oscillators, with similar though not necessarily identical period, approach each other.

Topological and time series analyses presented here demonstrate that earthquakes worldwide show evidence of such synchronization. Though numerous studies demonstrate that the composite temporal distribution of major earthquakes in the instrumental record is indistinguishable from random, the additional consideration of event renewal interval serves to identify earthquake groupings suggestive of synchronization that are absent in synthetic catalogues.

We envisage the weak forces responsible for clustering originate from lithospheric strain induced by seismicity itself, by finite strains over tele-seismic distances, or by other sources of lithospheric loading such as Earth's variable rotation. [In other words, they don't have a clue.]

For example, quasi-periodic maxima in rotational deceleration are accompanied by increased global seismicity at multi-decadal intervals.

Plain Language Summary

Large earthquakes appear to synchronize globally, in the sense that they are organized in time according to their renewal properties, and occur in groups in response to very low stress interactions.
 My proposition is that:

1. God sends an earthquake to the Southern Oceans to start the ball rolling.

2. The splash the earthquake or series of earthquakes institutes is a seiche that causes the currents of the Global Conveyance to adjust to suit his purposes for earth.

3. These earthquakes are usually of some 5 to 6 M. (Magnitude.) And they tend to take place in Swarms.

4. A swarm of earthquakes is a group of tremors that occuring more or less the same place for more or less the same period. This is generally enough to instigate the next phase of an Ocean Cycle.

5. An ocean cycle is a period that is known for a type of climate. Obviously the stuff all depends on the motions of the planets, so varies as the moon but overall a statistical development can be observed to average out as a type of weather.

6. There are really only a couple of types of weather: 1 = wet or dry and 2 = warm or cool.

7. In the 19th Century a climatologist noticed that the climate of one country oscillated against the climate of another country. When it was examined and his work found to be more or less true, he became famous for the El Nino Southern Oscillation but he was a climatologist so I have no idea who he was.

8. This was all established before the world had to deal with Nuclear fuel and more importantly Nuclear Weapons. With the use of nuclear weapons we began to affect the weather quite noticeably, especially following the Czara Bomba. this weapon was a thermonuclear device composed of a secondary fuel of heavy hydrogen in a lattice of lithium. Lithium is a metal similar to sodium that will hold the hydrogen removing the need to freeze it in place.

The problem is that lithium converts to something as effective as heavy hydrogen and the yield was unexpectedly rich. Two yeas later we had one of Britain's most exceptional winters. I haven't checked but I am pretty sure that most of our heavy snowfalls follow weapons testing.

And now we have a secret weapon capable of magically removing aluminium engines from cars.

Significantly the last time such a weapon was used (a few weeks ago) the reports reaching  the 'Net did not have secret police all over them. It did have total lack of coverage though.

At about the time some unusual activity was going on in what turned out to be flood hit Texas. Strange reports were being not told. Next time maybe we will be ready for it. But any Texans in the flood plain who know something about flood contol might do well to find out where the debris from the dams that were said to have failed disappeared to.

I suspect that Dustification was used to assist the drying up.

And now that I have been side tracked this might be a good time to do the idiotburger:

They got that wrong. Look behind you!
The swarms congregate about a period of 80 degrees temporally and arrive over the period of the metrorological spell and the stop go routine is due to the next jump-state which is volcanoes. Nobody has ever given consideration to the phenomena of:
magma-chamber-rotation

Obviously all volcanoes erupt indiscriminately, else they would build off-cetre and they can't do that. (Ever wondered why?)
So how can they erupt sideways?
Obviously a gyroscope is involved in them.

Best I can do without a sleep. I don't think this is worth a follow-up as I wrote something about tele-connections a few blog posts back, where I discussed the Mexican Pacific hurricanes.

9. I don't know why the earthquakes are always around the 5.5 to 6 magnitude, obviously because it make the most sense but what does that mean?

The earthquakes in the North Pole are usually lower than 5.5M., a lot lower. Maybe this is because god doesn't want mountains up there?
I think it means that stuff leaving will have an even spread between the cardinal points. Maybe god wants the southern reaches to be exciting. I bet the angels gather there.

Warm fronts leaving the Atlantic gather at the Arctic but the temperature never rises much above or fall much below freezing instead the region is always quiet because the temperatures don't change all that much.

Maybe they never have and they never will in our history?

10. The behaviour of Mid latitude storms since the advent of terror weapons is changing the behaviour of storms. Increased energy does not supply Glowballs but increased the dynamic of water. The water cycle is probably unbreakable, miraculous proof that god was not stupid in giving us the earth to play on all day long. But I am glad to think that day is nearly over.

What do you suppose the energy budget would need to be before the cycle can break, bear in mind that the steepest jump state for water starts at the lowest end of the Richter Scale. And it has to go through the roof of numerous fail-safe devices called Volcanoes at the end of the earthquake cycles.

And they don't reach VEI scales until they can blow off millions of tons of debris. I don't think anyone has a clue, besides god, how much water is included with the volcanic ash index.  I certainly don't and I am the only one I know who has tried to consider it.

If so you will probably realise that volcanoes are mufflers that increase in effectiveness with size.
And that water is the most insensitive heat sink (it take nearly as much energy to lift it through fluid to gas as it does to get from 29 or 30 C IIRC.) I have no idea what it could possibly take to get into the ionosphere -I should ask god but do I want to seem that clever just to impress people?

Yes I do but I hope I'll be dead before you find out, my head won't cope with the adulation. But I promise to let you know if he tells me, if I am still alive. (He might tell me to come and look and I couldn't refuse an offer like that.)

Got it:
It's 57 somethings.
And the reason volcanoes can't build off-centre is that they wouldn't form chambers if they did. So therefore they have to form chambers and thus we have a means of calculating possibilities for energy release with eruptions.

All we need to know is how much water they require to erupt and that can be guesstimated from the water tables and cycles.

Very clever Jehovah my lord but 57 something what?
