Abstract

On March 12–13, 1993, the passage of a severe extratropical storm, popularly referred to as the “Storm of the Century,” resulted in the deposition of storm-suspended sediments along Florida' west-central coastline. In Waccasassa Bay, surge waters near 3 m in height inundated the coast and transported resuspended, nearshore sediments onto the open-marine marshes rimming the embayment. The thickness of the resulting storm deposit reached 12 cm on the levees and up to 2 cm on the marsh surface, and visible sedimentation occurred several hundred metres from the creek banks into the marsh interior. The tan to gray storm layer was composed of mixed clays, silt to very fine sand–sized quartz, and marine biogenic sediments, all similar to those of the underlying marsh sediments.

Despite the evidence for severe storm conditions, this event was characterized further by the absence of shoreline erosion along the marsh coast. This condition contrasts with sandy coasts, where strong storms often result in shoreline erosion. As compared to sandy shorelines, the stability of this marsh-fronted coast is enhanced by the cohesive nature of the fine-grained marsh muds, baffling by the marsh-grass canopy, and sediment binding by plant-root matrices. Locally, the Waccasassa Bay coastal system has developed under sediment-poor, sand-starved, and low-energy conditions, and large-scale storm events may be an important component in sediment-transport processes and marsh-surface accumulation. The response of the Waccasassa Bay system to this event offers a different view of storm-related shoreline effects and, in particular, the role that storms may play in long-term shoreline stability.

The Deep State of the USA was already playing with fire. Roy Potter ex-Lieutenant Colonel is right in his description of the evil empire as the shining ones. He uses a different term that became associated with the people who did not agree to the apostasy of Trinitarianism:

Why they would even consider that, I can't say. Obviously there would have to have been a measure of corruption on the scale of what we are reading about in the USA and the Clinton scandals before it got this bad with honest citizens withdrawing from anything to do with such evil as they did in the election last year (2017.)

For Jehovah will be tender toward Jacob, and again choose Israel, and will set them down on their own soil; and the immigrants shall unite with them and attach themselves to the house of Jacob. And peoples shall take them and bring them to their place, and the house of Israel shall have them on Jehovah’s soil as an estate of slaves and shall become captors of their captors and have the mastery over their bosses.  All the earth is at rest and quiet, it breaks out in shouting. The very cypresses rejoice over you, the cedars of Lebanon,“Since you are down, no cutter is coming up against us.” The realm of death below stirs for you, to meet your coming, Rouses shades for you, all magnates of earth, Makes all kings of nations stand up from their thrones. All of them answer and say to you “You too are enfeebled like us, levelled with us!” 

Your pride is brought down to the grave, the din of your harps, The bed made under you is maggots, your coverlet worms. How you have fallen from the sky, morning star, child of the dawn! You are chopped to the earth, lifeless over nations. And you had said to yourself “I will go up to the sky, Above God’s stars I will uplift my throne, I will sit on the Council Mount deep in the north;  

I will go up on the heights of cloud, be the same as the Most High”

Only you were to be sent down to the realm of death, deep into the pit. Those who see you shall observe and take note of you: “Is this the man that set the earth to trembling, that shook kingdoms, That made the world like the wilderness and demolished its cities, never unfastened his prisoners to go home?” 

All the kings of nations all have lain down in glory, each at his home; But you are thrown out graveless like a repulsive abortion, Clad with slaughtered men transfixed with swords that go down among the stones of a pit like a trampled corpse; You are not to be united with them in burial because you have ruined your country, slaughtered your people; 

The posterity of harmers shall forever not be named. Get ready a slaughtering-place for his sons on account of their fathers’ guilt, That they may not stand up and take possession of earth and fill the face of the world with awe.

And I will stand up against them, quoth Jehovah of Armies, and bereave Babylon of name and remnant, quoth Jehovah. And I will make her into a domain of porcupines, and pools of water, and I will sweep it with a scraping broom, quoth Jehovah of Armies.

Jehovah of Armies swears “As I had thought of having it, so it came; and as I have planned, so it shall be made good: to wreck Assyria in my country and trample it on my mountains, and have its yoke off from them and its load off his shoulder; this is the plan laid out for all the earth, and this the hand stretched out over all the nations. For Jehovah of Armies has planned, and who shall thwart?

In the year of King Ahaz’s death there was this boding: Do not be all elated, Philistia, because a cudgel that beat you is broken; for out of a snake’s stock will come out a cobra, and its fruit will be a flying wild fire-snake. And poor men shall pasture in the Cretan country, and needy men have their flocks lie down unafraid; and I will bring your stock to starvation, and it shall kill your remnant.Howl, gate; cry out, city; come and go all of you, Philistia; for out of the north comes a smoke, and no one is by himself at their rendezvous.

And what answer shall they give the messengers of a heathen nation?
that Jehovah has laid Sion’s foundations and in him the downtrodden of his people shall take refuge.

Some of this seems to make sense that doesn't really make sense.

It is not for me to say what any of it means. Some of the ancient Jews did choose to go home and live among the Samaritans that had settled in their previous domains the people who later came to known as the Palestinians. What happened until the end of WW2 is that the French and the British were left with the residue of the Ottoman Empire at the fall of Germany and and WW1. Britain took on a Mandate to look after things and France fell into economic decline as did the whole of the western world as the US stock market collapse engineered the way to a Third Reich.

After the new empire of Media and Persia combined to defeat the Kings of Babylon (of which Daniel had just become co-ruler), they dug a ditch to divert the waters around Babylon and when the swamp drained the Parsin broke through the sluice gates and put the last Babylonian king to death, Daniel was taken captive to Susaan or Sushan:

In the year one of Darius the son of Xerxes, of Median blood, who had been installed as king over the Chaldean kingdom, in the year one of his reign I, Daniel, observed in the books the number of the years which it was Jehovah’s word to the prophet Jeremiah should be filled out for Jerusalem’s lying waste, seventy years; and I turned my face toward the Lord God to put up prayer and supplication with fasting and sackcloth and ashes; and I prayed to my God Jehovah and made confession and said 

“Ah, Lord, great and terrible Deity, keeper of covenant and friendship for those who love you and keep your commandments, we have been sinful and guilty and wrong and rebellious and gone off from your commandments and laws and not listened to your servants the prophets who spoke in your name to our kings, our generals, and our fathers and to all the populace. ,—we have sinned, we are in the wrong, but now, our God, listen to your servant’s prayer and supplication and show a shining face toward your desolated sanctuary for your own sake, Lord.

Apparently the previous inhabitants had been replaced by Assyrians and whoever the Assyrians and after them the Babylonians gave land to. Nobody on earth had considered the return of captives in those days.

In freeing all slaves of the Babylonian Empire, the Persians also freed the Israelites whoever and wherever they were. This led to a lot of bad feeling both among the Israelites and the previous slaves of the Israelites who had come to consider themselves as Israelites; and the other people whose history is not recorded so well as that of the Jews.

People just arrive as refugees and opportunists and for all sorts of reasons. A continual problem that had led to an uneasy peace for centuries. After 70 years people had made marriage arrangements and all sorts of treaties with once total strangers. And even before that the Kingdom of Samaria (which was originally made up of the ten tribes that split with Judah, Levi and Benjamin. The people who eventually came to be ruled by Jehu the King who prefigures President Trump) were led into Captivity by Assur Barnapal

I apologise if any of this seems uncomfortably difficult. You don't have to learn any of this but it might make an interesting diversion from your your usual soap operas. (I don't rate most people's ability to assimilate much more that what the TV guides tell them.) On with the story:

The storms of 1993 are not considered important enough to be incorporated in the panoply of modern history and you will have to search for them. (Any nasty suspicious minds out there might come to the conclusion that the Deep State was already playing with fire out of heaven by then and that is why they were intent on installing their own kings. I certainly explains the stream shit for brains and the duplicitous crooks since Kennedy.)

Even so, although the severe storms of the winter don't fit into the cycle of Tropical Storm events routinely recorded by regular storm watchers, the imbeciles rui/nning things couldn't get past history making records:

And what about the Fastnet Race?

August 14, 1979: Tragedy strikes the Fastnet yacht race as 15 die in violent storms. Force 10 gales whipped up 50-foot waves to turn the famous Fastnet yacht race into a terrifying fight against the elements for 2,500 sailors aboard some 300 yachts.

Is it any wonder that some of the finest ocean racing teams came to grief in UK home waters. (Who was in charge of the Met Office at that time? )
