I have no idea what this enormous whirlpool will produce. No more do the idiots responsible, one presumes. Someone is going to have to pay for it. And I don't imagine that a Presidential pardon will cover it, nor all the money missing in the Fed -whatever the Fed is.
But that is the worse case scenario. It may just peter out when it runs our=t of steam in the sense of a Stirling engine steam, that is.
A Stirling engine works on a pressure differential. Most conventional engines; be they steam piston or turbines; two-stroke or four stroke, rotational engines or reciprocating engines and even jet engines work on the principle of burning fuel expanding gases displacing levers and turning weights into motion.
A Stirling engine works on a difference in temperature outside of the machine becoming oscillatory. The heat slides out of the way and the engine returns to its original state, then the heat comes back and everything gets set in motion.
That is what a cyclone does in the Arctic Circle. The rotating air cools and falls to be replaced by the other side of the circuit. Then the cold air, now to the south, warms in the circuit. And in turn rotates back to square one. Presumably things just wear out. What else can they do?
