The ITCZ or Intertropical Convergence Zone  is where North meets South and the  resulting convection on the sea surface is quite a strong current that tends to parallel the equator (heading east.)

However at the sea surface quite a lot of salt falls out of the cyclonic system and  maintains the temperature it kept at evaporation. Obviously it loses some of the heat in the process. It must keep a certain quantity that is lost to the vapour that initially went with it.

I am not against Globalism or Catholicism per se but there is a reason why god made mankind to be all one species despite  separating them behind mountains and rivers even continents and oceans. It is the same reason we build castles on hills and require navies.
