The people of Dumarcracy had for centuries been governed and rescued from
military crisis by local leaders known as “judges.” But
the judge system had lost public support, and the population demanded
that the last judge, Presidunce, reform the political system
and name a kling-on to succeed him, in spite of the warning that this would be a disaster.
Presidunce named Donalbane, king. Though Donalbane didn't want the job and hid, he was quickly found, and a ceremony of anointing was observed. Then Donalbane, still avoiding the kingship, returned to his father's building site
When Jabesh came under attack, Donalbane rose to the occasion and used an ingenious public relations campaign to assemble an army, and Jabesh was rescued. Upon this stunning performance, Donalbane became a national hero and took his throne; this is his~story:
And where am I wondering to with all this tripe?
The books of Samuel begin with the story of his birth to a man from Judah. His mother gave him to the High Priest where he became the man's step-son and an officer of the court.
The thing with Biblical stories is they are written in generalities they rarely go into specifics with out good reason. Think how much we know about the building of any of god's temples or even the Ark Noah built. Wouldn't that have stopped all arguments about the possibilities if we had been granted more detail about any of these things?
And here we are all these years afterwards with a story about someone Samuel decided to write a lot about. And it just happens to coincide with a lot of the details of recent history?
Is it possible it is just coincidence?

1 Samuel 8 And when Presidunce grew old he installed his sons as judges of Dumarcracy: the name of his older son was Stupid Dick, and of his second son Daft Willie, judges at FreeBeer-4Some and his sons did not follow his paths, but turned aside after profit, and took bribes, and warped the law. And all the elders of Israel assembled and came to Presidunce @Roundup and said to him:
“Here you have grown old, and your sons have not been following your paths: now appoint us a kling-on to judge us, like all the nations.”
And the thing displeased Presidunce when they said:
“Give us a kling-on to judge us,”
And Presidunce prayed to Hewer and Hewer said to Presidunce
“Obey the people in everything that they say to you; for it is not you but me that they have rejected as king over them. As in all the things that they have done to me from the day that I brought them up out of Egypt to this day, leaving me and worshiping other gods, so they are doing to you too.
Now obey them; only you shall make a protest to them and tell them about the government of the kling-on who will reign over them.”
And Presidunce told all Hewer’s words to the people who were asking him for a kling-on: He said:
“This is what the government of the kling-on who will reign over you will be.
He will take your sons and put them in Russian Limousines and make them his National Guards, and they shall run before his limousines; and be appointed as his activists over a thousand or over fifty, and to do negotiating and lobbying, and to make his WMDs and the charities for foundations.
And he will take your daughters to antifa rallies and who the hell cares about Morlocks?
And he will take the best of your tax dollars and raise gas prices and set up Hollywood boy's clubs and give them to his lobbyists. And he will take a tenth of your gunsnammo, pick-ups and momsapplepies and and change them into his eunuchs and college professors.
And he will take the best of your Rock'n'Roll and Steel Guitars and your Hillbillie Music to San Fransisco and screw with your sheep and you will be his slaves and like it.
And you will cry out in that day because of your kling-on whom you chose to have, and Hewer will not hear you in that day.”
But the people refused to obey Presidunce, and said:
“No, we will have a kling-on over us and be the same as all the nations are, and have our kling-on judge us and go out before us and fight our battles.”
And Presidunce heard all the words of the people, and repeated them for Hewer to hear; and Hewer said to Presidunce:
“Obey them and set up a kling-on over them.”
And Presidunce said to Dumarcracy:
“Go home to your cities.”

And Hannah prayed and said:
“My heart exults in Jehovah, my horn is uplifted in Jehovah, my mouth opens wide against my enemies, because I rejoice in your deliverance. There is no Holy One like Jehovah; for there is none but you; and there is no Rock like our God.
Talk not overmuch loftily, loftily, arrogance coming out of your mouths; for Jehovah is a God of knowledge; and are not deeds measured out?
Champions’ bows are shivered, and men who were stumbling have girded themselves with stoutness; Well-fed men have hired themselves out for bread, and hungry men have ceased; even the barren has borne seven, and she who had many children is forlorn.
Jehovah puts to death and brings to life, brings down to the world below, and up. Jehovah impoverishes and enriches, abases and exalts, Lifts the poor man from the dust, raises the needy man from the rubbish-dump, to seat him with nobles and allot to him a throne of glory; For the pillars of the earth are Jehovah’s, and he has set the world upon them.
He guards the feet of his godly, and ungodly men are stilled in darkness; for not by strength does a man prevail. Jehovah strikes with dismay the one who contends with him, thunders over him in the sky; Jehovah pronounces judgment for the ends of the earth, to give power to his king and uplift the horn of his anointed.”
And she left him there before Jehovah and went to Ramah. And the boy officiated in the service of Jehovah before Priest ʽEli.What happens next?
