I am not familiar with the last story, I copied it by accident with my own quote and left it as it in as it shows the complete disarray one political group finds itself in. This is something Jesus must have understood from his early experience with his brother when offered all the world's governments.

What is implied in Matthew 4:9 is expressly asserted by him in Luke 4:6: "All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomever 1 will I give it." Whether Satan actually possessed the power and authority he claims for himself in these passages has been a much debated subject.
