Me and You

The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show  his servants the things which must shortly come to pass: and he sent and signified by his angel unto his servant John; who bare witness of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ of all things that he saw.

Blessed is he that reads and them that hear the words of the prophecy and keep the things that are written therein, for the time is at hand.

This means us. The characters mentioned, were dead centuries ago, all except the people alive to realise that these things are coming true.

John to the seven churches that are in Asia:
Grace to you and peace, from him who is and who was and who is to come; and from the seven Spirits that are before his throne; and from Jesus Christ, [who is] the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth.

Just go with it. You are not expected to be able to understand anything in this stuff without help. The trade secret is not to force understanding on yourself nor on anyone eles but to ask god abour stuffthat you don't understand and ask him for help and guidance. That is all I can tell you...
apart from the fact that the character "John" appears to be Everyman.
Now; take it!

In case you don't know it there is a difference between god and jesus. One is YHWH and the other is a swearword. (That is a joke. The scriptures are full of humour if you relax and look closely enough.)

In truth though it is amazing how well Satan has confused things. Chritians alive today, reaonable men of good heart, still think that God and Christ are one and the same. Is it any wonder that the dark ages contain oodles of Fake Gospel?

Behold, he comes with the clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they that pierced him; and all the tribes of the earth shall mourn over him. Even so, Amen.

Something else you need to get used to is that the difficult bits tend to be written in code this is to ensure that ony the genuinely interested get to follow along closely.

The code is usually simple enough to grasp if you think about it. Who can possibly be the ones that pierced him?

I am not going to tell you the bloody obvious you can easily work it out for yourselves. It isn't a Roman soldier he has been dead for thousands of years.

Don't take my word for this, John was a actual historical character and he was also one of the people gifted with a special revelation as were Moses and Elijah. I believe that and I believe this.

But also you can read into the name "John": John Everyman as in Shakespeare's day the name Robin Roundtree and today's Jack Thelad. It's up to you what you make of what you read into this stuff; just be careful.

Something else to bear in mind is that the word church does not mean a religious building for Christians. In fact the majority were still from the Semitic  of Christ's followers it is a general term a persuasion technique employed in the message of the bible is to issue parables a sort of patody easy to follow sapping genus ans species.

To Ephesus, and Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea.

These types of people have long since disappeared. You can still recognise them though.

And I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And having turned I saw seven golden candlesticks; and in the midst of the candlesticks one like a son of man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girdled at the breasts with a gold.

And his head and his hair were white as white wool, as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; and his feet like unto burnished brass, as if it had been refined in a furnace; and his voice as the voice of many waters. And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth proceeded a sharp two-edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shines in his strength.

When I saw him, I fell at his feet as one dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying: "Fear not; I am the first and the last, and the Living one; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive for evermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades. 

So guess who it was

Write therefore the things you saw and the things which are, and the things which shall come to pass hereafter; the mystery of the seven stars which you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks are seven churches. 

It is surprising how easy it become once you start enjoying yourself. Bear in mind nobody else will see it the same way you do.
